a full visualisation of the end product but gives us DXEF files to program the CNC machine manufacture and final assembly drawings for our welders and engineers to complete the works.
Utilising the latest manufacturing techniques and drawing on the years of experience within the workforce we are able to offer the precision engineering needed to achieve the demanding ballistic specifications. With all metal fabrication in house from laser profiling to powder coating we can monitor the quality at every stage of production.
Manufacturing Bullet Resistant Glass
Bullet-resistant glass is comprised of multiple layers of float glass. All glass starts as float glass and is acquired in stock sheets.
The glass may be heat-strengthened or toughened by heating in a furnace. For bullet resistant glass this process does not need to occur. It is safer for the glass to be float when laminated as when impact strikes the glass will break into larger shards but the integrity holds, held together by the interlayer.
